Removal Procedure

IMPORTANT: Before the tire is removed from the wheel care must be given in the following areas to ensure the TPM sensor is not damaged upon tire dismounting.
  1. Raise the vehicle on a suitable support. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the tire from the wheel. Refer to TIRE MOUNTING AND DISMOUNTING in Tires and Wheels.
  4. Remove the TPM sensor nut.
  5. Remove the TPM sensor.
