Removal Procedure

  1. Insert a flat-bladed tool at the left end of the lamp lens. Press in and down to free the lamp lens clip.

  3. Pull down to remove the left lens.
  4. Use the same procedure to remove the right lens.
  5. Remove the overhead console screws.

  7. Grip the console at the rear and pull down to release the retainers (2).

  9. Slide the off/on switches (1) into the open slot and remove them.

  11. Insert a flat-bladed tool at the base of each lamp and press in to remove them.

  13. If equipped, remove the electrical connector from the sun roof switch (1).

  15. Remove the overhead console housing from the vehicle.
  16. For the removal of the console backplate remove the headliner as necessary. Refer to Headliner Replacement  .
  17. Remove the wire harness from the clips in the backplate.
  18. Remove the backplate from the vehicle.
