Installation Procedure

  1. Install the sunroof actuator to the sunroof module.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

    Install the sunroof actuator bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the sunroof actuator bolts to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  2. Connect the electrical connector to the sunroof actuator.
  3. Remove the sunroof timing pins.

  4. Install the front screws to the sunroof window panel. Refer toSunroof Window Replacement .
  5. Check the sunroof for proper operation.
  6. Install the headliner. Refer to Headliner Replacement (Impala) or Headliner Replacement (Monte Carlo) in Interior Trim.
