Installation Procedure

- Position the hood to the vehicle, with an assistant.
- Align the hood hinges to the alignment marks on the hood.
- Install the hood hinge to hood bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the hood hinge to hood bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
- Install the hood assist rods. Refer to Assist Rod Replacement - Hood .
- Adjust the hood. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
