Enabling Procedure

  1. Connect the inflatable restraint side impact module - LF connector (1) located under the driver seat.
  2. Install the CPA to the side impact module - LF connector (1).

  3. Remove the SIR Fuse.
  4. Install the fuse block access cover.
  5. Staying well away from all inflator modules and pretensioners, turn ON the ignition.
    1. The AIR BAG indicator will flash seven times.
    2. The AIR BAG indicator will then turn OFF.
  6. Perform Diagnostic System Check - SIR  if the AIR BAG indicator does not operate as described.
