Installation Procedure

  1. Align the rear compartment latch to the marks made on the rear compartment.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the rear compartment latch nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the rear compartment latch nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Connect the electrical connectors to the rear compartment latch.
    4. Fig 1: Rear Compartment Latch

  4. Close the rear compartment.
