Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the wheel stud to the wheel hub and bearing.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

  3. Install 4 washers and the nut to the wheel stud.

    Tighten:  Tighten the wheel stud nut to 130 N.m (95 lb ft), drawing in the wheel stud.

  4. Remove the nut and the washers.
  5. Install the rotor. Refer to Brake Rotor Replacement - Front in Disc Brakes.
  6. Install the tire and the wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
