Removal Procedure

  1. Lower the window into the midgate.
  2. Remove the midgate inner panel. Refer to Midgate Panel Replacement - Inner .

  4. Release the midgate latches, opening the midgate until the holes in the hinge assembly are aligned.
  5. Install 5 mm (0.196 in) pins (2) or an allen wrench through the holes in each hinge (1) to support the midgate.
  6. Remove the midgate window outer sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Midgate Window Outer .

  8. Remove the bolts retaining the midgate window to the window regulator.
  9. Remove the midgate window out through the top of the midgate assembly.
