Air Cleaner Element: Installation

NOTE: Inspect the air cleaner housing assembly for damage. If a problem is found, replace as necessary.

Install the new air cleaner element. Install the air cleaner housing cover. Engage the air cleaner cover retainers. Install the intake air duct to the throttle body. Tighten the clamp assembly to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector.

Install the new air filter element. Reconnect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector. Install the air resonator and element cover to the air cleaner housing. Snap both latches into place. Install the screw securing the air resonator to the PCM housing.
