Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  1. Install the front pipe to the vehicle.
  2. Install the front pipe to the front pipe hanger (2).

  3. Install the following components to the front pipe to the Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) exhaust pipe:
    • The 2 springs
    • The 2 bolts
    1. Tighten 
    2. Tighten the front pipe-to-Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWC) exhaust pipe bolts to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).
  4. Install the following components to the exhaust manifold:
    • The 2 springs
    • The 2 bolts
    1. Tighten 
    2. Tighten the front pipe-to-exhaust manifold bolts to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

  5. Install the floor panel brace.
    1. Tighten 
    2. Tighten the front pipe floor brace nuts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
  6. Install the oxygen sensors. Refer to the following procedures:
  7. Lower the vehicle.
