Installation Procedure

  1. Install the Input shaft seal to input shaft.
  2. Install the following to the torque converter:
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
    1. 2.1. Install the torque converter seal to transmission.
    2. 2.2. Install the converter seal bolts to transmission.

      Tighten 

      Tighten the torque converter seals bolts to 3 N.m (26 Ib. in).

  3. Install the torque converter (1) to the transmission. Push the torque converter into position while rotating. The torque converter must be fully seated.
  4. Install the transmission. Refer to TRANSAXLE .
