Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR (PONTIAC)  or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR (CHEVROLET)  .
  2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  3. Remove the front door window. Refer to WINDOW REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  4. Remove the front door rear view mirror. Refer to MIRROR REPLACEMENT 
  5. Remove the sealing strip, window belt outer. Refer to SEALING STRIP REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR WINDOW BELT OUTER  .
  6. Remove the channel (2) lower bolt (3).
  7. Remove the push-in retainer (1) at the top of the channel.
  8. Remove the window run channel weather-strip from the front door window (4).
