Installation Procedure
- Connect the digital receiver electrical connector (5), if equipped.
- Connect the electrical connections (4).
- Connect the antenna coaxial cable (1).
- Install the radio (3) to the I/P carrier (6).NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
- Install the screws (2) to the radio (3).
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 2.3 N.m (20 lb.in).
- Install the I/P accessory trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (CHEVROLET) or TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (PONTIAC) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
