Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper engine mount. Refer to ENGINE MOUNT REPLACEMENT in Engine Mechanical - 3.4L.
  2. Remove the drive belt from the power steering pump pulley. Refer to DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT in Engine Mechanical - 3.4L.
  3. Remove the power steering pump. Refer to POWER STEERING PUMP REPLACEMENT (3.4L)  or POWER STEERING PUMP REPLACEMENT (2.2L (L61)) .
  4. Remove the power steering pump pulley using the J 25034-C  .
