Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel lower extension. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) EXTENSION REPLACEMENT .
  2. Remove the passenger seat from the vehicle in the 6.5L and the 8.1L diesel engines. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - BUCKET (ALL EXCEPT LUXURY) or SEAT REPLACEMENT - BUCKET (LUXURY Y91) .
  3. Release the engine cover retaining straps.

  4. Remove the engine cover from the vehicle.
