Removal & Installation (4L)

  1. Record Transaxle Fluid and Engine Oil Life Indexes from Driver Information Center (DIC). Turn ignition switch to OFF position.
  2. Remove rear seat cushion to access battery. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  3. Disconnect Mass Airflow/Intake Air Temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor electrical connector.
  4. Loosen intake air duct clamp at throttle body. Loosen air filter housing cover screws. Remove air filter cover, MAF/IAT sensor and intake air duct.
  5. Disconnect both PCM connectors. Remove PCM. See Figure.
