Ignition Switch

Ignition switch contains wiring and electrical switching portion of column mounted ignition assembly. Ignition switch includes wiring pigtails which connect it to the base of column connector, Passlock(tm) sensor on ignition lock cylinder case, and other components. Wiring for Passlock(tm) sensor is unaffected by ignition switch position. Electrical switch portion is operated by key and lock cylinder when they are rotated within ignition lock cylinder case. Ignition switch operates the crank relay regardless of Passlock(tm) system status.
