Installation Procedure

  1. Install the BCM. Refer to BODY CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT .
  2. Install the console accessory wiring junction block (2) into the console accessory wiring junction block bracket.
  3. Secure the console accessory wiring junction block retainers (1).

  4. Connect the console accessory wiring junction block electrical connectors (1, 2).
  5. Install the console accessory wiring junction block electrical connectors bolts (1, 2) finger tight until seated.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the console accessory wiring junction block electrical connectors bolts to 6 N.m (54 lb in).

  6. Connect the BCM electrical connectors (1, 2, 3).
  7. Install the front floor console. Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT -- FRONT FLOOR (AZTEK) or CONSOLE REPLACEMENT -- FRONT FLOOR (RENDEZVOUS) .
  8. Connect the negative battery cable.
