Visual/Physical Inspection

- Inspect the key fob to make sure it's the correct one for the vehicle. Refer to Keyless Entry Transmitter Identification .
- Inspect for aftermarket devices which could affect the operation of the power mirrors and the power windows systems. Refer to CHECKING AFTERMARKET ACCESSORIES .
- Inspect the easily accessible or visible system components for obvious damage or conditions which could cause the symptom.
- Inspect all related ground points for being clean and tight.
