Installation Procedure

  1. If the IP compartment lamp switch (2) was replaced perform the following steps:
    1. 1.1. Route the new IP compartment lamp switch wires through the opening in the IP carrier where the switch is mounted.
    2. 1.2. Connect the new IP compartment lamp switch wires to the existing splice.
    3. 1.3. Install the bulb to the IP compartment lamp switch.
  2. If the switch was not replaced pull the IP compartment lamp switch (2) back through the opening in the IP carrier.
  3. Connect the retainer (1) to the IP compartment lamp switch (2).
  4. Install the IP compartment lamp switch (2) through the opening in the IP carrier and press until the switch is fully seated.

  5. Close the IP compartment door.
  6. Install the courtesy fuse to the IP electrical center.
  7. Verify the IP compartment lamp switch (2) for proper operation.
