Installation Procedure

  1. Align the striker to the marks made in the removal procedure.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the liftgate striker bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the liftgate striker retaining bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Check liftgate closing efforts and align striker as required. Refer to Lock Striker Adjustment .
  4. Close the liftgate.
