Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
  2. Remove the exhaust system muffler. Refer to Muffler Replacement .
  3. Use a drill in order to remove the rivets at the exhaust muffler heat shield.
  4. Remove the exhaust muffler heat shield from the vehicle.
