Removal Procedure

  1. Open the hood.
  2. Mark the upper hood hinge location to the hood using a grease pencil.
  3. Remove the Assist rod from the hood. Refer to ASSIST ROD REPLACEMENT - HOOD 
  4. Remove the hood hinge to hood bolts, with an assistant.
  5. Remove the hood from the vehicle, with an assistant.
