Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the hood.
  2. Remove the upper radiator support baffle. Refer to RADIATOR AIR BAFFLE ASSEMBLIES AND DEFLECTORS (SIDE) or RADIATOR AIR BAFFLE ASSEMBLIES AND DEFLECTORS (UPPER) .

  3. Remove the bolts (2) from the hood release latch (1).

  4. Disconnect the hood release cable end from the latch.
  5. Remove the hood release latch from the vehicle.
