Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the hood latch release cable to the hood latch.

  2. Position the hood latch to the marks on the hood latch support bracket.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the hood latch to center support bracket bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the hood latch to center support bracket bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Adjust the hood as required. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
  5. Close the hood.
