Removal Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Notice in Cautions and Notices.
IMPORTANT: Note the locations of the brake pipes in order to aid in installation.

  1. Disconnect the brake pipes from the proportion valve.
  2. Fig 2: Locating Master Cylinder Brake Pipes From Proportion Valve

  3. Remove Master Cylinder brake pipes from proportion valve.
  4. Remove the nuts that retain the proportion valve to the mounting bracket.
  5. Remove the proportion valve from the bracket.
