Input/Output Diagnostics: Inputs

After all Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC) have been displayed, for third time, or no DTCs exist, Body Control Module (BCM) provides individual input and output diagnostic checks for various functions. All systems will activate and indicate each system input with a single flash of seat belt indicator and a chime tone. These system inputs include: All courtesy light switches, door lock cylinders, interior door lock switches, door lock ajar switches, keyless entry door lock/unlock, driver's fasten seat belt switch, driver information display, headlight switch, shock sensor, glove box light, trunk light switch, automatic day/night mirror, trip calculator and turn signal switch.
