Unlocking Radio Anti-Theft Feature (THEFTLOCK(R)) After Power Loss

NOTE: Allowing more than 15 seconds to elapse between each action in this procedure, will cause radio to automatically revert to time function.

NOTE: If secret code is lost or forgotten, contact dealer.

Obtain secret code from customer. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. "LOC" will appear on radio display. Press MIN button and "000" will appear on radio display. Press MIN button again until last 2 digits agree with last programmed code. Press HR button until first 1 or 2 digits agree with last programmed code. Press AM-FM button after code matches last programmed secret code. Display will show "SEC" indicating radio is operable and secure. If the wrong code is entered 8 times, "INOP" will appear on radio display. Turn ignition switch to RUN position for one hour before attempting to reenter secret code.
