Compass Calibration

Before calibrating compass, drive vehicle to an area that is magnetically clean (free of large metallic objects). Also ensure there is no magnetic objects inside or outside of vehicle close to mirror.

1. Start the engine.
2. Press and hold COMP switch (on/off switch if equipped with OnStar(R) controls) until letter "C" or Cal is displayed.
3. Drive vehicle in circles at a speed of less than 5 MPH until the "C" or Cal is replaced by a proper vehicle heading. Calibration procedure is now complete.
