Code Enable Criteria

For DTC to run, the following conditions must be met:

• No active MAF, IAT, or VSS DTCs are present.
• Minimum air temperature is 19°F (-7°C) or more.
• Start-up coolant temperature is -33 to 104°F (-36° to 40°C).
• Vehicle speed is more than 5 MPH for more than 0.5 mile.

DTC will set when closed loop coolant temperature of 93°F (34°C) is not reached within a predetermined time of 2 minutes and 20 seconds to 22 minutes and 30 seconds. Maximum allowable time depends on start-up coolant temperature and amount of airflow into engine.
