Installation Procedure

  1. Install the wiper arm onto the wiper transmission drive shaft.
    1. 1.1. Align the wiper arm with the marks made on the windshield.
    2. 1.2. Push the wiper arm down onto the wiper transmission drive shaft completely.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the retaining nut onto the wiper transmission drive shaft and the wiper arm.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nut to 23 N.m (17 lb ft).

  3. Install the cover on the wiper arm nut.
