Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the lift gate interior trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate in Body Rear End.
  2. Remove the rear wiper assembly. Refer to Wiper Motor Replacement - Liftgate in Wiper/Washer Systems.

  3. Disconnect the license lamp electrical connector.
  4. Remove the license lamp bezel to lift gate nuts.
  5. Remove the license bezel housing from the vehicle.
