Differential Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Drain differential. Remove vent hose assembly and clamp. See Figure . Remove clutch pump check valve. Remove "O" rings from check valve.
  2. Remove torque tube bracket nut, bolt and spacers. Remove torque tube bracket. Remove torque tube-to-differential bolts. Separate torque tube from differential. Remove bolts from differential.
  3. Remove pinion housing and shim. Remove oil seal and "O" ring from pinion housing. Remove left and right axle shaft oil seals.
