Removal Procedure

- Remove the intake air resonator. Refer to Intake Air Resonator Replacement .
- Disconnect the mass air flow/intake air temperature (MAF/IAT) sensor electrical connector (3).
- Pull up on the air cleaner assembly (1) in order to release the retainers from the air cleaner adapter (2).
- If necessary, loosen the MAF/IAT sensor clamp.
- Remove the MAF/IAT sensor.
