Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Aztek and 2003 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the assist rods to the liftgate.
  2. Install the upper end of the assist rods to the ball joint. Press in to place until fully seated.

  3. Install the lower end of the assist rods to the ball joint. Press in to place until fully seated.
  4. Remove the support from the liftgate.
  5. Close the liftgate.
