Removal Procedure

- Raise the vehicle.
- Remove the Allen bolt (2) from the Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (BPMV) mounting bracket (3) located on the sensor side.
- Raise the BPMV to access the brake fluid pressure sensor.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the brake fluid pressure sensor.

NOTE: The replacement of the old brake fluid pressure sensor must be performed quickly to reduce the amount of fluid that is lost during the procedure. - Use a wrench to keep the brake fluid pressure sensor collar from turning (1). Remove the brake fluid pressure sensor (2) from the BPMV.
