Installation Procedure

With an assistant, position the hood hinge to the alignment marks on the vehicle.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

Install the hinge to hood bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the hinge to hood bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
Slowly lower the hood.
Inspect the hood alignment. Align the hood if necessary. Refer to Hood Adjustment .
Install the hood hinge covers.
