Cooling System Bleeding: 3.4L

CAUTION: DO NOT remove radiator cap when radiator is warm. Removing cap immediately lowers boiling point of coolant and could cause a violent overflow, resulting in large coolant loss and personal injury.

Add 50/50 mixture of DEX-COOL® engine coolant and water to radiator. Wait 2 minutes and recheck level. If necessary, add more coolant until level is at base of radiator fill neck. Install radiator cap and ensure that arrows on radiator cap point toward radiator overflow tube. Close air bleed valve above coolant pump and on thermostat housing. Fill coolant overflow reservoir. Start engine and allow cooling fan to cycle on and off 3 times. Turn engine off and allow to cool. Ensure that coolant level is at correct level and freezing point is sufficient.
