Circuit Description

EEPROM write error detection is handled inside control module. No external circuits are involved.

DTC B1007 sets when, control module detects an internal write malfunction.

When DTC B1007 sets, the microprocessor tries to write to memory location 3 times, if write process is not accomplished code is then set.

DTC clears when microprocessor makes a successful write to EEPROM.
