Class 2 Serial Data Circuit

The class 2 serial data circuit is a Purple wire connected between Data Link Connector (DLC) terminal No. 2 and following modules:

• Body control module.
• Electronic brake control module.
• Instrument panel cluster.
• Powertrain control module.
• Inflatable restraint sensing and diagnostic module.
• Theft deterrent control module.
• Radio.
• Auxiliary power drop connector.
• Head up display.

The class 2 serial data circuit allows these modules to communicate with each other and with scan tool for diagnostic and testing purposes.
