Test A: Cannot Change Customization Modes

  1. Ensure no BCM DTCs exist. Test operation of LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on RKE transmitter. If doors lock and unlock, go to next step. If doors do not lock and unlock, see KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM INOPERATIVE  .
  2. Check for poor connection at Body Control Module (BCM). If okay, replace BCM. See appropriate BODY CONTROL MODULES article. Verify system operation.
