Remote Activation Verification (With Content Theft Deterrent)
NOTE:
If ignition switch is turned to OFF position during RAV procedure, customization will be terminated and system will remain in most recent mode.
Remote Activation Verification (RAV) feature allows verification that RKE transmitter command has been received by vehicle. Various RAV mode indicator settings may be programmed. See RAV MODE CUSTOMIZATION table. RAV feature can be customized for each RKE transmitter. To program an RKE transmitter for RAV mode setting, perform the following procedures:
- Turn off instrument panel dimmer switch. Turn ignition off. Remove MALL PGM fuse. Turn ignition to ACC position. Seat belt light will flash and chime will sound 1-4 times, equal to BCM type. Each time transmitter LOCK button is depressed, mode number will advance. BCM sounds chime a number of times equivalent to RAV mode. Transition past mode 4 will repeat starting at mode one.
- To exit and save current customization, turn ignition off and replace MALL PGM fuse.
