Last Door Closed Locking & Lockout Prevention Customization

With ignition key in ignition switch and driver's door open, automatic power door locks are disabled. Pressing LOCK on automatic power door switch or Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter with any door open, prevents doors from locking. Chime sounds 3 times indicating last door closed feature is enabled. Five seconds after all doors are closed, doors will lock automatically.

To customize these features, enter customization mode. See FEATURE CUSTOMIZATION MODE . Press UNLOCK button on power door lock switch. Count number of chimes. Number of chimes corresponds with mode setting. Press UNLOCK button until number of chimes matches desired mode setting. See LAST DOOR CLOSED LOCKING & LOCKOUT PREVENTION MODES table.

⁽¹⁾	Doors will lock immediately when LOCK is pressed on power door lock switch or RKE transmitter.

⁽²⁾	Power door locking is prevented with key in ignition switch.

⁽³⁾	Pressing LOCK on automatic power door switch or RKE transmitter with any door open, prevents doors from locking. Chime sounds 3 times. Five seconds after all doors are closed, doors will lock automatically.

Power door locking is prevented with key in ignition switch. Interior lights will stay on for 25 seconds after ignition key is removed from ignition switch, all doors are closed, or until doors are locked. Pressing LOCK on automatic power door switch or RKE transmitter with any door open, prevents doors from locking. Chime sounds 3 times. Five seconds after all doors are closed, doors will lock automatically.
