Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Current DTCs remain stored in BCM as long as BCM detects fault. History DTCs can be cleared by pressing and holding door UNLOCK switch for 4 seconds. BCM will sound 3 tones to confirm DTCs are cleared. If vehicle does not have power door locks, backprobe, with a fused jumper, from BCM connector C1 terminal "D" to ground for 4 seconds.
