Transmission Mount: Installation

  1. Install the mount to the transmission. Install the bolts that secure the mount to the transmission. See Figure . Tighten the bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Install the transmission support to the vehicle.
  2. Install the bolts that secure the transmission support to the vehicle. Tighten the transmission support bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Install the nut that secures the mount to the transmission support. See Figure . Tighten the mount-to-transmission support nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Remove the transmission jack. Lower the vehicle.
