One Mirror Does Not Operate In Left/Right Positions
- On left mirror, backprobe with test light between power mirror switch connector terminals "D" (White wire) and "B" (Light Blue wire). On right mirror, backprobe with test light between power mirror switch connector terminals "G" (Red/White wire) and "B" (Light Blue wire). Move power mirror switch to LEFT position. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, check for poor connections at power mirror switch. If connections are okay, replace power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- On left mirror, backprobe with test light between left power mirror connector terminals "A" (White wire) and "B" (Light Blue wire). On right mirror, backprobe with test light between right power mirror connector terminals "A" (Red/White wire) and "B" (Light Blue wire). Move power mirror switch to LEFT position. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step. If test light illuminates, check for poor connections at inoperative power mirror. If connections are okay, replace inoperative power mirror motor pack.
- On left mirror, repair open in White or Light Blue wire between power mirror switch and left power mirror. On right mirror, repair open in Red/White or Light Blue wire between power mirror switch and right power mirror.
