Test No. 1

  1. Disconnect left power door lock switch connector. Connect test light between left power door lock switch connector terminal "A" (Black wire) and voltage. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Black wire.
  2. Backprobe test light between Body Control Module (BCM) connector C1, terminal "B" (Gray wire) and ground. Observe test light and move left power door lock switch to lock. If test light comes on, repair open circuit in Gray wire. If test light does not come on, check body control module connector for a poor connection. If connection is okay, replace body control module.
