Front Wipers Operate Continuously

  1. Disconnect wiper motor connector. Turn ignition on. Ensure wiper switch is off. Using a voltmeter, measure voltage between Dk. Green or Gray wire terminal of wiper motor connector and ground. If battery voltage exists, check for short to battery voltage in Dk. Green or Gray wire. If no short exists, replace wiper switch.
  2. If battery voltage does not exist, measure voltage between Pink or Purple wire terminal of wiper motor connector and ground. If battery voltage does not exist, replace wiper motor circuit board. If symptom still exists, replace wiper motor. If battery voltage exists, check for short to battery voltage in Pink or Purple wire between wiper switch connector and wiper motor connector. If no short exists, replace wiper switch.
