Serial Data Loss

Using Tech 1 scan tester, monitor Powertrain Control Module (PCM) to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) normal mode communication. If oil pressure light is commanded on, PCM is receiving a low pressure signal. Check circuits to and from pressure sender. If oil pressure light is commanded off, replace IPC.
