DTC 23/33, Retained Acc Power (CKT Shorted To GRND Or Batt): Testing

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Disconnect BCM connector C2. Connect a test light between BCM connector C2 terminal "F" and ground. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in battery circuit. If test light illuminates, go to next step.
  2. Connect a test light between BCM connector C2 terminal "C" and ground. If test light illuminates, repair short to battery in RAP feed circuit. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step.
  3. Using DVOM, check for short to ground at BCM connector C2 terminal "C". Repair short to ground in RAP feed circuit as necessary. If short to ground is not present, replace BCM.
